Mutare Software announced it is working closely with Novell as a Unified Messaging partner providing clientless voicemail to email solutions for Novell’s popular GroupWise software suite. Mutare’s EVM Plus unified messaging solution is a perfect solution for GroupWise customers looking for advanced unified messaging capabilities without the need for a forklift upgrade. The EVM Plus platform is ideal because there is no desktop client to install and the middleware solution approach results in zero user set up or training. This is great news for Novell users as they will not require a forklift upgrade to get advanced functionality like voice mail to email and IM. Also with Mutare’s new “Activity Link” GroupWise user’s can append voice messages in email and update the progress directly to their CRM or billing system. This is great for law firms to track billable hours, customer service centers to track communications on open issues etc.
